Church:
Wedding flowers arrangements at the altar, floral sprays on the ends of reserved pews. Historically, this is typically paid for by the bride's parents but over the last ten years the 'traditionalist' approach is anything but traditional.
Reception:
Arrangements on the bridal table as well as the buffet table. Small arrangements placed on tables for a seated meal. Small arrangement on the guest book table and floral decorations on the cake table are optional. Traditionally, these arrangements are paid for by the bride's parents.
Bridal Wedding Bouquet Flowers:
Consider the style of your dress and the formality of the occasion. We also have more photos for you to view to help you with the selection of your bouquet with an onsite consultation. Many brides use part of their bridal bouquet for their going away corsage. It saves on expenses, and is one less floral arrangement to keep track of. Traditionally, this is ordered by the bride and paid for by the groom.
Bridesmaids' Wedding Bouquet Flowers:
Usually a smaller version of the bride's bouquet, perhaps with a slight variation. The bride can suggest just about anything to the our Floral Designer that would suit their needs. Traditionally, this is paid for by the bride's parents.
Flower Girl:
Usually a decorative basket filled with petals for the flower girl to scatter gently along the aisle. Traditionally, this is paid for by the bride's parents.
Bride's Father:
Boutonniere, traditionally ordered and paid for by the bride's mother. All boutonnieres should be coordinated with the bride and bridesmaids.
Groom, groom's father and ushers:
Boutonnieres alike except a bit different for the groom to distinguish him from the others. All boutonnieres should, of course, be coordinated with the bride and bridesmaids. Traditionally paid for by the groom.
Bride's and groom's mother:
Corsages traditionally paid for by the groom. May be a corsage for the wrist, shoulder, purse.
Bride's and groom's grandparents:
Boutonniere for the grandfathers, corsages for the grandmothers. This is not mandatory, but is a nice gesture and is helpful to guests who are trying to distinguish members of the family from other guests. Traditionally paid for by the groom.

Tips on arranging a Floral Consultation

Contact us once you've selected the date, time and place for your wedding and reception. Like many florists, we can accept only a set number of weddings on a given day, so it is important and very helpful to contact us well in advance to begin planning. A good rule of thumb is to contact us at least three months in advance of your Wedding day.

It will be helpful if you know the colors and style of the gowns you and your bridesmaids will be wearing. Pictures that depict what you have in mind are extremely helpful. Bring a photo of your dress and a sample of the fabric or lace if you have it, as well as swatches and photos of the bridesmaids' dresses.

Look through bridal books and floral guides. Sketch ideas, cut out pictures or take photographs of flowers you like and show them to your Floral Designer. Seeing your ideas and personal style will help your florist translate your concepts and special requests into workable floral designs and arrangements that are just right for you.

You can visit us as many times as you need to gather estimates, ideas and scheme ideas. We will be able to give a rough estimate without a lengthy meeting and in most cases can do so by upon filing out our consultation form. Our floral designers are trained and highly skilled floral artists and their ideas have value - but you will never be asked to pay a consultation fee if you want to discuss a florist's actual ideas for your wedding.

Tips on Stretching Your Wedding Flower Budget

To stretch your wedding ceremony and wedding reception budget through wedding flowers arrangements you might choose specific types of wedding flowers that will work within your budget. But, there are also some experts tips how wedding flowers might be used at both the ceremony and reception:

* Bridesmaids wedding bouquet flowers can become lavish buffet table decorations or surround the cake.
* Bride's wedding bouquet flowers can become the head table arrangement or a cake top
* The pew markers can become festive bows on cars or doors
* Altar designs can flank the buffet or cake table
* Flower-filled urns at the ceremony entrance can later be moved to the reception, etc.

Additionally, there are some other items you can request to stretch your wedding floral budget:

- Choose blooms that are in season (for your wedding date) and/or locally grown. Your Floral Designer assigned to you from Rossi & Rovetti Flowers can assist you in making this selection based on your fragrance, color and size preference.

- If you wish to use your wedding florals at your reception site, we can offer delivery from one venue to the other upon your request. But this can also be done by a friend, bridesmaid or guest to lower delivery fees.

- Greenery and .bows will always be less expensive than florals, and may even be used alone for certain areas.

- Choose smaller bouquets. Gone are the days where the bouquet is practically all you see when the bride walks down the aisle. Besides, they cover up the dress and are very heavy.

- For very small events (less than 25 people for the total event size), some couples choose to have a friend, guest or bridesmaid pick up the arrangements directly from our showroom on the day of the event. By doing so, this eliminates the cost of setup and installation and onsite decoration fees. However, be sure that the person picking up is able to adequately store the arrangements and is capable of transporting, installing and setting up the arrangements wherever appropriate.
